Honoring Ceremony for Young Participants in the “Read and Rise 2” Quranic Storytelling Competition
Happy Homes Association for Culture and Development organized the second honoring ceremony for participants in the “Read and Rise 2” Quranic Storytelling Competition. This ceremony was dedicated to the younger students from the Association’s Taj Al-Waqar Quran circles who narrated five Juz’ (sections) or fewer of the Holy Quran.
The ceremony followed the Association’s annual Quran competition and was attended by members of the Association’s administrative board and the students’ families, who joined their children in celebrating their achievements and receiving their awards.
The event opened with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a speech delivered by Ms. Suhair Hassouna, Chairwoman of the Association. She praised the role of the Quran circles in advancing the Association’s vision and goals of raising a generation that is conscious, well-informed, and grounded in values and good morals.
The ceremony also recognized the program director, supervisor, and Quran memorization teachers in appreciation of their efforts in guidance and support. Awards were additionally presented to the top-performing students in the Quran circles, as well as all students who participated in the competition.
This initiative reflects the Association’s vision of nurturing children’s love for the Holy Quran and developing their storytelling and reflection skills, with the aim of building a generation distinguished by Quranic knowledge, learning, and faith.
