Second Small Hands Parenting Forum
The Second Small Hands Parenting Forum, organized by the Happy Homes Association for Culture and Development, concluded on Wednesday, May 1, 2019.
The forum brought together a distinguished group of lecturers, educators, and engaged participants. Throughout the forum, a number of important topics related to parenting and child development were addressed, including:
- The Importance of Reading and the Role of Stories in the Educational Process, presented by Ms. Doaa Al-Sharbati.
- Spiritual and Values-Based Education for Children, presented by Dr. Areej Sameeh Al-Araj.
- Developing Children’s Cognitive Skills, presented by Ms. Israa Shalaldeh.
- Social Engagement and Inclusion of Children, presented by Dr. Heba Debie.
- Language Development and Its Impact on the Individual, presented by Dr. Wael Hareez.
- A Journey into the Mind of a Teenager, presented by Ms. Ola Addeis.
- Sexual Education, presented by Mr. Assem Al-Qawasmeh.
The forum also featured a special segment in which students from Hebron University participated in a debate on the use of electronic devices and smartphones by children.
