First Small Hands Parenting Forum
On Saturday, May 5, 2018, the Happy Homes Association for Culture and Development concluded the first parenting forum, titled “Small Hands,” at Al-Amana Hall (4).
The forum aimed to raise parents’ awareness and provide them with knowledge and guidance on sound and effective parenting practices through a series of purposeful and informative lectures.
The forum was inaugurated by the President of the Association, Ms. Suhair Hassouna, who welcomed the guests and attendees. She introduced the objectives and programs of the Happy Homes Association and expressed her appreciation to the sponsors and supporters of the forum: Infinity for Advertising, Printing and Design, Najm Educational Games, and Dandis Library, as well as the forum’s organizing committee and its volunteers.
The forum featured a group of specialists in the field of education, including Ms. Ola Addeis, Dr. Wael Hareez, Mr. Mohammad Rabie, Ms. Hikmat Bsisso, Ms. Ahlam Hijazi, Educator Siham Jweilis, and Ms. Doaa Al-Sharbati.
The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Mohammad Ghazi Al-Harbawi, President of the Chamber of Commerce; Mr. Ahmad Hassouna, Secretary of the Chamber of Commerce; Mr. Nafez Al-Harbawi, President of the Businessmen Forum; Mr. Kamal Hassouna, former Minister; Mr. Nizar Bali, Director of the Palestinian Islamic Bank; and Ms. Susan Al-Ayoubi from the Municipal Council.
The forum’s organizing committee consisted of:
