The First Happy Homes Forum for Young Couples’ Education

The First Happy Homes Forum for Young Couples Education

The idea for the First Happy Homes Forum emerged from the objectives of Happy Homes Association to contribute to building happy and stable homes, promote awareness among young people preparing for marriage, and help them build married lives based on affection, mutual understanding, and compassion. The Forum sought to provide comprehensive educational content addressing the various aspects that influence married life, drawing on the expertise of specialists and those interested in family affairs.

The Forum featured a series of diverse educational lectures. Dr. Muhannad Istitieh delivered a lecture entitled “In the Balance of Islamic Teachings,” in which he addressed key matters related to engagement and marriage from an Islamic perspective, explaining the principles and guidelines that young men and women should consider when preparing for marriage.

Mr. Khader Mubarak delivered a lecture entitled “So That We Do Not Lose Our Direction,” in which he discussed the motivations and purposes of marriage and explored some of the reasons that may contribute to marital difficulties, helping those preparing for marriage develop a more informed understanding of the responsibilities and demands of married life.

Mr. Nadim Abu Khalaf addressed the topic “Personality Types,” explaining key differences and psychological needs between men and women, and highlighting the role of understanding these differences in improving communication between spouses and promoting greater understanding and stability within the family.

From an economic perspective, Dr. Farouk Ashour delivered a lecture on “Financial Management of Married Life,” focusing on the importance of managing family financial resources responsibly and highlighting the role of financial planning and organization in reducing conflicts and strengthening family stability.

Dr. Ahmad Al-Fasfous addressed the topic “The Chemistry of Love,” discussing emotions and affection within the marital relationship and emphasizing the importance of maintaining love and emotional closeness between spouses. Meanwhile, Ms. Asmaa Al-Sharbati presented “Step by Step Toward Choosing a Life Partner,” focusing on the importance of making thoughtful and informed choices when selecting a life partner and building a healthy foundation for a successful family relationship.

In addition to the lectures, the Forum included a number of opening sessions, dialogues, and discussions, with the participation of specialists and those interested in family affairs. These activities provided participants with an opportunity to engage, ask questions, and exchange experiences regarding the various issues and challenges that couples may encounter in their married lives.

The First Happy Homes Forum for Young Couples Education was held on April 30 and May 1, 2016, at the Hebron Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Conference Hall. It attracted more than 130 participants on each day, marking an important step in Happy Homes Association’s efforts to promote family awareness, prepare young people for married life, and contribute to building more stable and happier families.
